Well after a great trip to Mexico and an awesome time in Washington with my fellow Volksrodders, I am finally motivated to get the roadster done!

I spent the better part of the day at my storage room working on her! I basically finished off the passengers door! I skim coated it with bondo and block sanded it down by hand with a longboard! Primered it, blocked it, primered it and blocked it!

I am amazed I had the energy to do so much! It's all the great Mojo I've been getting! Yesterday was the first time I did that much since I started my battle the cancer! I even called Walt and might be enlisting his services on a small project!

OK, enough babbling, back to the storage room I go!

I WILL DRIVE IT BY THE SUMMER!

Another full day of work at my storage room! 2 days in a row! Damm, this feels like I have a job! I worked on the drivers door. I finished filling in the window channel opening and shaved the door handle and door lock hole and filled the mirror hole. Today, I'll start the bondo process! I will drive it this summer!

Cool Dan, the extention looks good. I stopped by today about 4:30, didn't see your truck and didn't want to scare your wife. If I get a chance, I'll stop by tomorrow. .....Tim

Yesterday... I sandblasted painted and installed the beam in Beverly the Autostick. I bought this car in early March for $300. Next Friday I will be picking up the license plate at the DMV. I took a non-running / non-stopping car and now have a decent ride for a high school kid. It won't win any shows or races but it is better than going across the scales.

Ready for the rotors as soon as my brake lines come in.

I got the front beam on the Mini T and the centerlines mounted all the way around so I can push it out of the barn and start cleaning. I'm a pig and I told the wife I was heading up to the show/swap in Minneapolis with a bunch of really great stuff to sell. I forgot how much crap was squirrled away. Did it all on only 2 beers and half a pack of smokes. Good day!

Alight, it's today, but oh well. The boy and I set out to clean up a motor and paint it. It's a 10 footer for sure, but oh well.

I got a Makita 12" cut-off saw from work for free the other day and today I traded a 6hp Tecumseh basket case engine for a good running briggs 5hp engine. Now I can upgrade my baja bug go-cart. I also got a free BBQ grill from a friend and put a new regulator on it. Works great. ......Tim

I didn't do much yesterday or today I sanded down the beam that was supposed to be blasted and welded up a couple holes but found a few more, two of them pretty big They're just in the shock towers so I'll patch them up.

I got an old frame head that I'm going to maybe use as part of a jig to narrow beams. I've got the design worked out without the frame head but now that I have it I might use it.

I spray-bombed the kid's chopper bike and we put it back together. I never did finish the frame like I wanted but he likes it

Then we took the atvs out and got muddy.

I fitted an other piece into the reardecklid. It's going slow but hey I've been working on it for almost 6 years now... I had to sneek in to the garage after my wife and soon 3 year old son went to sleep so I worked to 01:00 am again...
