I've always thought they were cool. Maybe you can find one and pop off a few.

Got those skirts done yet?

Hey Jon,

I saw some fiberglass company that made them somewhere (maybe fiberjet industries). Or maybe it was "latest rage" that had them.

Charlie on the skirts. Did you say you were ok with holes drilled becuase I may have found another option but I have no fenders to fit them to.
I am going to Wisconson this week and have seriously slammed with zero help, but I plan to do those next week. Even considered Hiring a friend to do them I have been so busy.

Mathewsuckerpunch, PM me if you want some.

I'll look for the latest rage ones and see.

Although I could do it form pictures it's not like I don't have a scale reference and the ability. Just no time, why i am working for others again ?

I have 2 BMW Buckets that could be adapted simliar to this.

I have a few old fenders if you need one to play with. No holes would be better but whatever.

Well you can easily measure the space it's gotta fit into then from the pic you can come up with the scale. You know the width of the seat already as well as the angle of the seat back so it would be very easy to figure out it's demensions.

Got me thinking, I do gotta build a rear seat for the Buggy.

There's a mold for the EMPI seats floating around somewhere. Saw it for sale on the Samba a couple years back.

Really now that would be worth buying.
Not that it would be a huge seller but it would cool and definetly get you some some good trading power.

Why not just take your car and that photo to a good upholstery shop? They could make it for you!

I would think Corrado seats could work. I don't have mine anymore or I would measure.

And as many of them have been scrapped over the years they could be cheap. Most people only want the front seats, so that leaves the rear left over.

I think they could work, but You

ll need to build a frame as best i remember they are basically just pads that just sit down on the chassis floor in the 'rado.

They are very low, I think you are right. The front seats are low too. It always made me think what it was driving a Corvette.
The VR6 Corrado is the baddest stock VW I have ever driven. I fell in Love with them the first time I drove one. The Corrado is a hatchback type car. The link above tells how to put Corrado rear seats in a MKII Golf.
