Re: '37 Volkster Coupe
Sure, come on by Spencer...I'll be mocking up for photos so I'll be home.
Bought myself a few things over at All American. In fact the '40 Buick Coupe roof and rear deck section I used for the Stoll Coupe came from there. Love walking around their yard.

Just unbelievable, Mark!
I LOVE this build. I'm pretty sure this is my favorite of all time.
Many kudos to you, sir... I'm in awe.

That's going to take a lot of time, money and NOS parts to restore back to stock!

Re: '37 Volkster Coupe
Wow, that came out amazing! Should I start saving my lunch money now for when you sell it to start your next project?

Re: '37 Volkster Coupe
I have wanted to buy every car Mark has built. He has a great eye.
Is this one off to Hawaii too?

Re: '37 Volkster Coupe
Thanks for the comments everyone.
The paint is really something. I find it shifting to a real dark purple at times. I am real happy.
Today was a productive day. So many things to do!! I would really hate to try and take this back to stock. Wow...could you imagine?
Good hearing from you Jay. Been a while. And yes, the plan thus far is ship it to Hawaii. I'll show it this summer and send it out in June/July sometime. Sorry Hotrodheb.
It's a five minute conversation when someone asks what I'm building. I've given up and just show them a photo. A VW?..Whaaa??...
Thanks again everyone..I'm flattered.

Re: '37 Volkster Coupe
I agree, Awesome color. I love a dark navy blue that color shifts towards purple like you described. You obviously put one hell of a lot of time into prepping for paint. Awesome vision to pull that off. Now it just needs a sweet creme-tan interior and top.

Re: '37 Volkster Coupe
You know someone would want to buy it and make it a "custom" by pulling the fenders off and making it look like a "Volksrod".
