did you take out the windows for paint perhaps???

looks great.. looks like it needs to be a little lower but awesome progress!

that rust isn't so bad.. it's probably more than what youre used to.. but not so bad..

what wheels are you going to run on it??? wheels allways help me visualize the final product.. I don't know why.. I think the wagon wheels I have on my project (like the ones you have on the rear) are holding mew back mentally on my baja into stocker project.

GREAT WORK MAN! KEEP IT UP!

looking good lump. just out of curiousity, does the kit come with the extra set of bolts to mount everything up? i'm sure it's in a previous thread but it just popped in my brain and i'm sure i'd forget before i could access the search feature. anyways, killer!!!!

SHIT YEAH!
thats lookin great! I can't wait for this Friday for myself to get paid and then off to JimW my money goes for that same lovely Extender.... :drools: I can almost taste the extender now.... ahh yes.

Hey did you weld up the portions that JimW doesn't weld or did you get it welded up by a shop? Just curious cause I'd like to know what kinda rod I'll need to buy before hand. I plan to Arc weld it.. would a 6011 rod work best on it?

WOW! What a great day! I have the steering about finished exept I need the male super beetle end,I'll get that in the morning. Thanks Dan for telling me about the super u-joints
I'll be running 135's up front on stockers with 1953 studebaker lark hucaps or baby moons. In the rear wil be 205/80's if they'll fit. I finished welded it my self...that took a couple of hours :peek: I had to run to ACE to get grade 8 bolts and harware...common stuff...... OK time to rest... :D

Is that a homemade 'extender'? If so where can I get a set of plans.

Keep posting on that steering set-up also as that could be a real bitch.
