My Introduction
Been lurking on here for awhile - possibly 2-3 years. Been thinking of building a custom, like basing it on a bug - been kicking ideas around and seeing what has been done.
My interests run from restorations to hot rods to phantoms to customs. I have a fully restored 1972 MGB in my garage, as well as a 1940 American Bantam restoration "project" - it really is several baskets of parts! My first introduction to auto rebuilding was a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle - so, to do a custom one - is not a totally "new" venture. I have saved many of the Hot VW's magazines from the time I had my '70 bug.
