Re: The Rebuilding
Hi Ron, I just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing. Like you I’ve been cleaning up my small shop. Has it ever seemed to you that tools and some small parts seem to reproduce?

Re: The Rebuilding
Update........
1st, the car, I haven't touched it, waiting until after I have the kidney transplant
2nd, just heard this week my son IS a match, we are going to try to schedule the transplant for May 17th
3rd, and a real downer, my wife was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer back in February, currently going thru chemo, showing positive results, radiation next
I have been spending lots of time out in the garage, I wanna get everything organized (yeah right) I have added at least 350 square feet of floor space, maybe more, I moved a few machines around as well, I have a big saw I need to put wheels on so I can get it out of my way when I don't need it
I'll keep ya's updated on my kidney transplant,
Thanks for the MOJO everyone
Ron

Re: The Rebuilding
Transplant is scheduled for June 21st, I've been trying to get back in shape before I have this surgery, I was 22 years younger last time, it won't be so easy this time
My wife finished chemo, no cancer, they are gonna do radiation to make sure it's completely gone, so things are looking great for our family
I've been trying to get a few things finished before the transplant, my son cut down 2 trees that were hanging dangerously over the garage, I will try to share a video of the last one, most of y'all wouldn't do it like he did, he set some old couch cushions on the roof, dropped the tree onto the roof, he's a roofer so he can fix any damage, it's getting a new roof later this summer
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, we definitely appreciate it
I will keep y'all posted, I will have someone share how the transplant went on my Facebook page, nobody uses the desktop computer but me, or I would have them let ya's know. I also have a gofundme page to help my son out for lost wages, I will try to share a link here for that as well
BTW I'm gonna plan to have my Volksrod finished and driving again by July 2023
Thanks again
Ron

Re: The Rebuilding
The rebuilding of Ron Smith is complete, so far everything is working, just waiting for my doctor's to get my medicine adjusted so I can get home, I'm hoping Monday is the day.
Then I can get back to my Volksrod, I miss driving it
Ron
