Awesome... just unpacked my Black glitter banana seat, sissy bar, ape hangers, springer front end I bought on ebay and installed on the Jaguar.

Pics will be taken tomorrow and I should be to be get them posted Friday.

Want taller ape hangers though, the 11" ones are too short. Need 15" or so.

Then white walls and paint the bike... although the Blue metalflake looks pretty nice.

I just picked this up the other day for a couple bucks. I think I'm going to do a rat/mad max style with it. triple clamp forks, dual headlights, low banana seat. wrap the seat and the grips in strips of old brown leather, and leave it rusty..

I can't justify owning a bike because I live so damn far from everything (even beyond biking distance), but they sure look fun to build!

I've (and I really hate this term... it's so played out) Pimped my Schwinn.

More in it than I wanted to, but a hundred dollar Schwinn Jaguar from Target and fifty bucks worth of handlebars, springer forks, glitter banana seat and sissy bar.

Not bad for a time machine - it's 1976 all over again.

Also just bought a Kona Blast for trail riding.

Here is the old one that was in my basement when we moved in

It was a 1936 Sears Elgin Bluebird.. It was pretty kick ass since it had a built in speedometer, headlight, horn, self leveling pedals, self oiling rear hub and crank and a bunch of other random stuff.. Pretty high tech for a 1936 bike.. I ended up selling it because it was worth way to much to cut up into something custom and I had a feeling that if it stayed in the basement I would have done something to it

that's a sweet bike! I saw a similar one a while back all fixed up.

This is the latest frame I built- bamboo. Still experimenting with the bamboo, we'll see how it holds up.

Went out riding with my nephew Saturday morning and got a few pics.

Normally I'm on the trails but there was a 12 hour race going on so we stuck to the BMX park.

Gary Fisher 29er mountain bikes were made for flying, right?

Bringin it back yet again! I was just thinking about putting my bikes back on Craigslist again soon since the weather will be getting better over the next couple months, and decided to show them off here since you guys seem to like the other stuff I build.

These were all built while my fiance and I were staying with her parents until we found our house. Little storage and room to work meant I needed to find a small hobby.

The first:

Paint detail:

I have long since added a chain tensioner. That one pissed off Schwinn purists!

Then I built one for my fiance who claims she is "balance challenged".

And then, I built my favorite. It started out as one of those lame West Coast Choppers Sting Ray bikes, but I built the frame out of conduit only utilizing the factory rear triangle, bottom bracket tube, and head tube/triple tree. The seat is from the above Schwinn just stripped of it's upholstery. It took me three months to finish because I wouldn't stop riding it while I was building it, I probably logged at least 15 miles on it before I got the paint on it, and probably another 60-70 miles since then.

In this picture you can really see the color on the triangle, it was metal flake black with a holographic flake clear on top.

I have a Trek 820SHX that I love, but my first bike, 20" Red Schwinn Stingray is sitting in the basement. Still looks great!!!!!! 2 small dents in the fenders and a small cut in the glitter banana seat (thanks David, circa 1977) but still rolls on the original tires. Got it up to 32MPH once!
