Default Freddyfiles 2013 - Ninove, Belgium
Re:: 500+ aircooled VWs filled the town

Cruised 200km down to Ninove in company with around 80-85 Dutch air cooled cars, busses, pickups, Type 3s, a thing and another Volksrod ... the J's any my first proper cruise. Was amazing to be driving 200 KM and never out of site of at least 10 other aircooled cars !! When I arrived I was car #443 and they were still coming in for 2-3 hours more ... The whole of the town was filled completely with air coolness ... The photos are only a tiny sample to give you an idea of what it was like ...

Photos aren't good (old mobile phone) but I'll let the album say the rest for me ...

BTW -- Get a load of that Trekker/Thing ... I think there are three in the album, but you'll know which one I mean as soon as you see it !!!

Enjoy ..

When some of the good photos start to arrive on the net I'll try to update the thread with better links.

Nope .. definitely a trailer queen, but worth it !! ... In Belgium you can get a ticket for lowering the car let alone hacking it to pieces and rearranging it's body parts !!

It was so much better in real life than the photo can show. That chop was so slick you could have thought it was stock till you saw it next to a stocker.

But that's just me talking, people can do whatever they please.
I think he intends it to be a driver .. it's just not going to be legal :) ... He'll take it to open track shows and blast it around though.
