IIRC f1 specs were 13" diameter x 15" wide rims in those days. They still use tiny little 13" rims but the width was cut about in half.. I didn't get a chance to get a real close look at it unfortunately.

Coming back from Bugdust's garage and a morning of working on the RPU, I saw these and had to turn around and take a few pics to share. These cars are for sale, at the same place on Hwy 301 between Starke and Waldo Florida. I have the phone number to the place also just in case. The red one's asking price is $38,500 and the one in primer is $7,500. I think the pink one has Corvette running gear, and it had "COLD A/C" written on the windshield.

Hey for $7,500 (probably less since that was the asking price) the pink one was actually pretty sweet. Didn't check the interior but all over the windows in white was written "rebuilt V8....runs GREAT.....COLD A/C" has Lakes pipes, frenched headlights and tail lights even. Oh if I had the money that pink one woulda had a new home.

The Colorado 1000 came through town yesterday and stopped for lunch at the park across the street from my shop. This is a driving tour for the very wealthy and they have been doing it for years. At the end of lunch (put on by a group of local vounteers) they present a check for several thousand dollars to a local charity or school program. Over the years I've gotten to know several of these guys and ridden in a few of the cars. Pretty decent guys and gals (for the most part) for a bunch of zillionairs. This year about 60 cars. Damn camera crapped out on me before I could take pics of the REALLY cool cars.

Alfa. You can just make out the round badge on the front of the grille shell.

Saw this VRod Thing...... didn't get to see it up close other than at a stop light that lasted all of 3 seconds, but it had an odd looking front end motor swap.

MASERATI MC 12 (these are not my pics but the car I saw was the same color.)

i remember reading an article on this a while back. it was maserati's response to the Enzo. Notice the single lug wheels, driver side is red and the passenger is blue. reverse threads on the driver side. i just love everything on this car!
