And the crowd goes wild! Wait a minute, you're not running a heat to the defrosters?

You do amazing work

Maybe I should build me an all metal scale model of a V-Rod similar to how I want mine to look when finished

Oh wait, I've already started a scale model build (original size that is), matter-o-fact I have been driving it for the past 9 months

You could really get Jeff going by scaling out his suspension and making it work on one of your models. Of course then Jeff would likely resort to YOU SUCK on a bill board somewhere.

Thanks. The VW bodies start with a Maisto 1/10th RC toy body-then they are modified. The engine in the pickup was made by me using various fabricated and machined parts. The one in the van was from the same Maisto RC VW which was then modified with the exhaust and other details.

Looking at a trailing arm setup-bagged the original Tamiya kit suspension-next I need to locate the shock mounts-I think I'm going to try for dual rear shocks-

Holy crap......Your stuff totally blew me and my wife away. You're right up there with Wingrove and Chenot as far as I am concerned.

And I am sure that you handle the "gee, you should build a real one now" comments as they are intended. Lots of folks just dont think about the difference between just buying a front beam and engineering and building one totally from scratch in miniature.

Totally impressed....

Well-those are some great words-thanks very much. I won't shake a stick at a great compliment but I am not anywhere near the level of those guys. Never the less, I am glad you appreciate the work-!!

Started work on the rear suspension. Going with a dual shock set up. As soon as I get wheels on the back I'll be able to bench test the rear-and see if my drive shafts stay in place

Hmm, at this rate in the next day or so, you'll be posting your replies to my posts before I post them. (Meanwhile I'm waiting for Franklin to apply his immense talents to a Single Cab..hint, hint).
